Default 10 LED flashlight

During hurricane Juan which hit Dartmouth and Halifax there was
complete darkness and then I reliazed the need for "an alternative
energy source/homepower" so by doing a search on Google and typing in
"LED flashlights" I found about 100 000 hits so I looked through at
least 500 sites and so far I found that a German made 16 white LED
flashlight ($165 US) and a USA made 10 white LED flashlight (lightwave
model:LW4000 $86 CDN):

are the best for my needs and my tv & vcr repair shop,so I would like
to know who else in Canada prefably in east Canada sells those two
models of LED flashlight FOR ALOT LESS as I would like to buy one of
the two.
I would also like to know who in Canada has a used working or NON

the one that has aircraft bands, police bands,weather,AM/FM/LW/SW and

There is a flashlight that takes no batteries. you shake it, and it
produces voltage. Led are expensive for clear , cheap for other colors.
look into bicycle lights, or make your own with truck lenses with leds.

Vastly overpriced - look for a Streamlight Septor for about $35 U.S.; it has
seven LEDs - and is quite bright.

Look at you local (or semi local Walmart). I know there is one on PEI, not
sure where else in NS.
They have a 4 LED version with little magnifing glasses for about $20 USD.
